Modern Tokyo On your first full day in Tokyo, you’ll explore the modern west side of the city. Arrive in Harajuku and visit Meiji-jingu Shrine, Omotesando, and Nezu Museum (don't miss the garden!). Take the train or subway to Shibuya. Arrive in Shibuya and explore this retail paradise. visit the Roppongi Hills complex to get a view over the city.
Optional : Tokyo Disneyland Tokyo Disneyland is a 115-acre theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, near Tokyo. Its main gate is directly adjacent to both Maihama Station and Tokyo Disneyland Station. It was the first Disney park to be built outside the United States.

Day : Tokyo: Traditional Tokyo
On your second full day in Tokyo, you’ll explore the traditional east side of the city. Visit Senso-ji Temple and nearby Asakusa-jinja Shrine. Arrive in Ueno and visit the park and the museums. Visit the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum or the Bridgestone Museum of Art. Consider a nice stroll in nearby Hibiya-koen Park afterward. Day

Day : Tokyo MT FUJI
Take a break from the big city by heading to one of the interesting places in the countryside around Tokyo. The best places for a day trip outside of Tokyo are Nikko, with its wonderful shrines and temples, Kamakura, with a Great Buddha statue and fine Zen temples, and Mt Fuji (you don't have to climb it – you can take a bus to the base or partway up the mountain to enjoy the views).

Day : Travel to Kyoto, Explore Downtown Kyoto
Take the shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto. The journey takes around 2.5 hours . You’ll probably have some time after arriving in Kyoto to explore. We recommend checking out the downtown area on this day.

Day : Kyoto: Southern Higashiyama
On your first full day in Kyoto, Take a step back in time in Kyoto’s Higashiyama District. Narrow streets snake up the side of Mount Otowa and are lined with shops, restaurants and local craft stores with pottery, jewellery and sweets. This bustling historic district, with its wooden buildings and traditional stores, invokes a feeling of old.

Day : Kyoto: Arashiyama
On your second full day in Kyoto, travel west to the Arashiyama district, which is home to the famous Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Arashiyama is a pleasant, touristy district in the western outskirts of Kyoto. Arashiyama is particularly popular during the cherry blossom and fall color seasons.
The Togetsukyo Bridge is Arashiyama's well known, central landmark. Many small shops, restaurants and other attractions are found nearby, including Tenryuji Temple, Arashiyama's famous bamboo groves and pleasure boats .

Day : Kyoto: Kurama and Northern Higashiyama
On your last full day in Kyoto, consider a trip to Kurama and then explore the lovely Northern Higashiyama area. Another option on this day would be a day or half-day trip to Nara. visit the Kurama-dera temple and Kurama onsen (hot water spring), which has an outdoor bath with fine views of Mt. Kurama. Nara for a half day sightseeing trip in the Nara-koen park area, including Isui-en (one of Nara’s finest gardens), Todai-ji temple which houses the famous Daibutsu (Great Buddha).

Day : Travel from Kyoto to Osaka
Take the Bullet Train to Osaka. Have some time in the afternoon on your own. overnight in Osaka.

Day : Osaka
After breakfast , you may wish to stop by Osaka’s famous entertainment district, the Dotonbori, where travelers can experience the local nightlife with restaurants, amusement facilities and shopping centers open 24 hours. From Osakako Station, take the Chuo Line to Kujo Station. Then, take the Hanshin- Namba Line to Namba Station. The Dotonbori is about a 5-minute walk from the station. Overnight in Osaka.
Optional : Osaka’s Universal Studios Japan If you love amusement parks or have kids that do, you should definitely visit Osaka’s Universal Studios Japan (USJ). The combination of Universal Studios magic and Japanese efficiency makes it one of the most enjoyable amusement parks anywhere. Day : Osaka
After breakfast opt for Osaka Castle is one of the most striking castle structures in Japan. The enormous white edifice is a 1930s reconstruction of a historic castle from 1583. The building houses a modern museum, an elevator for ease of access, and the Nishinomaru Garden. It is one of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in the city. How to get there: From Osaka Station, take the JR Loop Line to Osakajokoen Station. The castle is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
